Listening and support
The API offers a safe place where athletes and others involved can tell their story when they feel unsafe, uncomfortable or treated in a way that crosses boundaries.
Integrity Contact Point
What does the API do within Amp Football Belgium?
Within Amp Football Belgium, the Integrity Contact Point (API) is responsible for safeguarding a safe, respectful and ethical sporting environment for all players, parents, coaches, volunteers and partners. The API is a confidential point of contact where anyone can go with questions, concerns or reports about integrity.
What the API does
The core tasks of the API
Giving advice
The API helps to assess situations, provides information about possible steps and refers people to the right organisations when needed.
Following up reports
The API handles reports carefully, discreetly and according to the applicable procedures. The aim is always to put the safety and well-being of the athlete first.
Prevention and awareness
The API helps build a sporting culture in which respect, inclusion and ethical behaviour are a matter of course, through clear agreements, communication and training.
Why
Why is the API important?
Amputee football is a sport in which trust, togetherness and physical safety are essential. The API makes sure that:
- every player feels safe and protected;
- coaches and volunteers are supported in acting ethically;
- parents know their child plays sport in a caring and professional environment;
- behaviour that crosses boundaries is prevented and dealt with.
Our vision
The API of Amp Football Belgium believes in a sporting environment where everyone feels welcome, where respect is the norm and where integrity is not just a word but an everyday practice. Together we are building a strong, warm and safe amputee football community.

Come and try
Come and watch, try, train
It does not matter what level you play at, whether you have ever played, how old you are or where you come from. Would you rather just come and watch first? That is fine. Tell us who you are and we will get back to you.
