The Israeli amputee football team was established at the end of 2019.

The team's coach is Sharon Paz. The team has about 15 active players.

The first major tournament in which the Israeli national team participated was the European Championship held in Krakow 2021, which it finished in 13th place. In 2022, the Israeli national team participated in two international tournaments, in Belgium and Scotland, both of which they finished in first place.
